What is a clean environment?
Human life is surrounded by the environment, which consists of basic elements such as water, plants, climate, air, soil, etc. For the safe survival of life on Earth, these natural resources must be protected and preserved. The elements of the environment are as follows:
Meaning and Definition:
The term environment is derived from the French word “Environia” which means to surround. Refers to both abiotic (physical or non-living) and biotic (living) environments. The word environment means the environment in which living organisms live. Environment and organisms are two dynamic and complex components of nature. The environment regulates the life of living organisms, including humans. Humans interact with the environment more actively than other organisms. Environment usually refers to the materials and forces that surround an organism.
Environment is the sum total of the conditions that surround us at a given point in time and space. It consists of interdependent systems of physical, biological and cultural elements that are individually and collectively interrelated. Environment is the sum of the conditions in which an organism must live or maintain its life process. It affects the growth and development of living forms.
The physical component
The physical component of the environment is the non-living part. Abiotic factors, which include things like air, water, soil, and climate, are also called these. The three main classes of physical elements are the atmosphere, hydrosphere, and lithosphere. Scientists often refer to an area of life as a “biosphere” (or the world’s total ecosystem).
The three main components of the environment are the lithosphere, atmosphere and hydrosphere. Lithosphere is the name for the solid part of the Earth. The Earth is surrounded by gaseous layers that make up the atmosphere. The atmosphere is composed of gases including oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and others. The vast amount of water that makes up most of the Earth’s surface is known as the hydrosphere. This water exists in the form of liquid, ice and water vapor.
item # mineral resources:
The earth’s crust is full of various mineral resources. Many inaccessible and sparsely populated areas turned into boom after mineral wealth was discovered in those places. In modern times, the industrial development of a region or country is measured by per capita use of iron, steel, aluminum, and even per capita consumption of electricity. Similarly, many Middle Eastern countries became famous and economically rich after the discovery of oil and natural gas.
Because of the presence of diamond and gold mines, South Africa could not escape the grip of white rule. Many such examples can be cited. Recently, Iraq had to face a devastated situation at the hands of the coalition forces mainly because of oil. (texajp_7)
