Renewable Energy – Less Pollution
The authors found that the energy densities of energy sources can vary widely. In some cases, it can vary more than a thousand times.
Biomass, for example, the smallest, has a power density of 0.8 W/m2. On the other hand, the energy density of natural gas is 1000 W/m2, which is the largest.
Renewable Resources Worldwide
According to the Department of Energy, the cost of clean energy technologies such as residential and utility solar power, onshore wind and LEDs has fallen anywhere from 40 to 90 percent in the United States since 2008. The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) declared back in 2015 that domestic energy consumption has “the largest share of renewable energy since the 1930s, when wood contributed significantly more to domestic energy supplies.”

What are the advantages of fossil fuels
Fossil fuels are easy to find all over the world, and we are already miners on a massive scale. As technology advances, more and more reserves will be found and mined. Hydraulic fracturing is a new form of natural gas extraction. Once we get fossil fuels like coal and gas from the ground, they will produce energy relatively cheaply.
Once we start burning fossil fuels for energy or heat, carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere causing pollution which in turn has an effect on global warming. (texajp_7)
