The “Mode Heim Handwerk” fair will take place in Essen from 10 to 13 November. There are other special exhibits at the fair.
The Consumer Fair “Crafts for the fashion house(MHH) invites you to shop and browse from Thursday 10 November to Sunday 13 November. In addition to the main fair, there are three other exhibitions, all focusing on the themes of family, sport and vacation. These are the trade fairs “NRW – The best of the region”, “kreativ.essen” and “Holiday dreams powered by Reise + Camping”.
Messe Essen’s “Mode Heim Handwerk” is one of NRW’s most visited public and consumer fairs with a history of over 50 years. Particularly popular are the fashion shows that take place several times a day: there are not only wedding dresses, but also sustainable fabrics and “dresses from the vase”. Students from Düsseldorf and Trier will also show their fashion creations.
Carpenters advertise their craft and guests can get active too
The Essen Sports Association (Espo) presents new sports and everything to do with health. The Fachverband Tischler NRW presents more than 40 pieces of craftsmen and promotes its guild: visitors can make a cutting board themselves under the guidance of experts.
As always, Christmas also plays a special role at MHH – creative party design is the big theme in Hall 8, where “Christmastown” is a guest; Guests can be inspired by numerous suggestions for a creative Christmas.
The “Plus fairs” focus on the themes of holidays, culinary delights and do-it-yourself
The special exhibitions, identified as the so-called “plus fairs”, deal with festivals (hall 5), the culinary specialties of the region (hall 6) and the great theme of “do it yourself”. Guests are invited to make Santa hats or socks themselves, Advent wreaths can also be made, and there’s also a large thimbles exhibit to visit, with 7,500 items.
